Senator Claire McCaskill will be in conversation with Senator Cory Booker
In her forthright and compelling memoir, PLENTY LADYLIKE, Missouri’s first female senator, Clarie McCaskill, recounts her life in politics: from her informal stumping for JFK while trick-or-treating when she was seven to her election as homecoming queen, then state senator, county prosecutor, and U.S. Senator. In her current position, which she’s held since 2006, McCaskill has been instrumental in measures involving earmark spending reform, oversight of military contractors, and addressing sexual assault in the military.
