Join the university community in celebrating the history and cultural expressions of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Bhutan. The South Asian Heritage Celebration 2017 theme, “Brownian Motion: Diffusing the Model Minority”, aims to dissect the stereotypes of the community and to educate and culturally enrich the GW community. The heritage celebration committee comprised of South Asian student organization leaders will display the breadth of South Asian culture while acknowledging their many contributions to American culture.
